Publishers of scientific literature have opened access for Ukrainian institutions  to the electronic resources on the Research4Life platform by the end of 2022. More than 500 institutions of Ukraine have already registered.

Up to 114,000 books, more than 40,000 journals and databases are available for Ukrainian scientists on the Research4Life platform.

Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet expressed gratitude and hope that the Research4Life Partner Publishers will keep access to electronic resources for Ukrainian institutions next year, as it is important for Ukrainian scientists to continue their activities during the war and for the recovery of the country after the war.

The letter from the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine was reviewed at Research4Life General Partners’ Meeting. As a result of this meeting, it is planned to transfer Ukraine from group “B” to group “A”. Institutions from countries belonging to group “A” do not need to pay for access. Free access for Ukrainian scientists is planned to continue at least until the end of 2024.

Higher education institutions and research institutions that have not yet registered on the Research4Life platform can apply for registration via link.
