The Ministry of Education and Science, together with the Swiss-Ukrainian project DECIDE, with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Ukraine, launched a new information resource emergency.mon.gov.ua for ministries of education, school principals, and teachers in countries kindly hosting Ukrainian preschoolers and schoolchildren. The focus is made on school education. The website also has a special section on the humanitarian needs of Ukrainian education in times of war.

The resource can help the international educational community better understand the academic trajectory of Ukrainian children and what knowledge and skills they are gaining in Ukraine at a certain age. It will help to adapt the child to the new educational institution better.

Furthermore, it contains information about the education system in Ukraine, details of different levels of education, and a brief description of the leading educational programs for school. FAQ and Webinars pages are providing more information on specific questions about Ukrainian education system and online resources available for educators.

International community will find a list of humanitarion needs and possible areas of cooperation at the “Help education in Ukraine” section. More about damage to the Ukrainin educational network can be found at saveschools.in.ua/en/.

The website was created within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian project ‘DECIDE’ – ‘Decentralization for Improved Democratic Education’. The project is implemented by a consortium of NGO ‘DOCCU’ and PH Zurich supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Technical partner — Association for Innovative and Digital Education.
