Ukraine has been a full member of the STCU since July 16, 1994 after the Decree of the President of Ukraine of May 4, 1994 "On Approval of the Agreement to Establish a Science and Technology Center in Ukraine".

Ukraine has been a full member of EUREKA since June 9, 2006, on the basis of the application for membership of Ukraine in EUREKA (ratified by the Law of Ukraine dated October 1, 2008 No. 610).
