Annually, the Parties shall reciprocally place:
  • up to 3 candidates for study for obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree (education and qualification level);
  • 1 candidate for obtaining the first academic degree of a Doctor of Philosophy in Ukraine and the education and qualification level of a Doctor in the Republic of Bulgaria;
  • lecturers and scientific professionals for internship work and research for a total period of up to 9 months.
The selection of candidates for study and internship work, in accordance with Article 1 of the Protocol, shall be carried out by the sending party. The sending party shall notify the hosting party [of the selected candidates] by 20 April

  • 5 persons occupied with Slovakian studies
  • Up to 15 educational grants to participate in expert language workshops for teachers from schools with minority language, for a period of up to 14 days
  • Up to 3 educational grants to students of the Uzhgorod National University
The Parties will agree on the required number of students and specialties, as well as on specific student exchange terms for each next academic year through diplomatic channels.

From time to time, specific exchange programmes will be developed and agreements regarding financial possibilities will be reached
