School, We Are Together!

"School, We Are Together!" is an initiative to renew the educational process.

Our goal is to create comfortable and safe conditions for returning to school by September.

To do this, we bring together businesses, non-profit organizations, charities, partner and donor organizations, and opinion leaders.

What is the current situation?

The budget allocates UAH 1.5 billion for school shelters. However, this is not enough to equip the required number of shelters for children's safe education.

More than 305,000 students need to be transferred to educational institutions from other settlements. The UAH 1 billion subvention from the state budget is not enough to purchase the required number of school buses.

The funds allocated in the budget for printing school textbooks could cover approximately 65% of textbooks for grade 6 students in Braille, for grade 5 students in Ukrainian history, and for schools with education in national minority languages in all subjects for grades 5-6.

Among teachers, only 1 in 3 has a personal laptop for classroom use. Among students, 3 out of 4 do not have an individual gadget for learning. Without the necessary material and technical support, it is impossible to talk about quality education.
