Ukraine professional pre-higher and higher education needs assessment published

Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with the Institute of Educational Analytics, the Educational Cluster in partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children and World Bank conducted a survey of professional pre-higher and higher education institutions to identify their current situation, determine current losses and damages, as well as urgent needs of their students and academic staff.
Initial analysis is based on the survey conducted from June 25 to August 4, 2022. Responses have been provided by 749 educational institutions from all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, hereof 252 higher education institutions and 497 professional pre-higher education institutions. Needs assessment covered the following topics:
- Educational Process
- Education Infrastructure
- Needs of Internally Displaced Population (IDP) Learners, Teachers, and Researchers
- Professional Needs of Academic Staff
- Needs in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
- Financial Management.
