Ukraine and France signed an Administrative Agreement on supporting the teaching of the French language in Ukraine

An Administrative Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to support the teaching of the French language in Ukraine.
The agreement was signed by Omelchenko Vadym, Ambassador of Ukraine to France, and Olivier Richard, Deputy Director General of Globalisation at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The agreement will contribute to the development and expansion of the following areas of bilateral cooperation:
- studying French in general secondary and higher education institutions in Ukraine;
- recognizing achievements in bilingual education in French through the introduction of the LabelFrancEducation certificate;
- supporting internships and training courses for Ukrainian teachers of French;
- supporting the operation of the Lycée Français Anne de Kyiv;
- establishing and maintaining a "Network of Excellence" in Ukraine.
The signing of the Administrative Agreement will have a positive impact on participants in the educational process and will further strengthen the educational partnership between Ukraine and France.
