Estonia Supports the Integration of Entrepreneurial Education in Ukraine
What if vocational schools taught not only theory but also how to turn dreams into reality?
This is now becoming a reality for students in 16 vocational education institutions in the Rivne, Lviv, and Zhytomyr regions. Thanks to the project “Integration of Entrepreneurial Education into Ukraine’s Vocational Education System,” launched on February 19, 2025, with the support of the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV), young people will have the opportunity to learn how to create their own projects, think creatively, and solve real-world problems.
Why is this important?
Entrepreneurship is not just about business. It’s about seeing opportunities where others see challenges, adapting to change, and having the courage to take responsibility. The European Commission emphasizes that every young citizen should gain practical entrepreneurial experience before completing their education. This is the key to career success and active citizenship.
Estonian Experience for Ukrainian Dreamers
The project is based on the Estonian “Edu ja Tegu” program, which has already proven its effectiveness. It is not just about business classes but a system that fosters entrepreneurial thinking — the ability to see opportunities, approach challenges creatively, and bring ideas to life.
What will students gain?
