Online platform for conducting educational assessments: thanks to trusted partners

The main session of the national multi-subject test will begin already on July 18. The war prevented us from conducting a traditional external independent evaluation. Printing and delivery of evaluation materials, checking paper forms - all this would be impossible to implement in the current situation. However, thanks to the incredible support of partners who contributed to the creation of an online platform for conducting assessments, we do not deny the youth of Ukraine a transparent and fair admission to higher education institutions.

We would like to sincerely thank those who made the national multi-subject test, the master's test of educational competencies and the master's complex test in computer format possible.

These partners are: UNICEF Ukraine, UNESCO, Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to UNESCO, the Government of Switzerland, the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project – “Decentralization for the Development of Democratic Education” and the NGO “Portal u bezperervne navchannya “Sukhari”. The support of partners made it possible to develop a platform for conducting online educational assessments in a short time.

For many years, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment, studied the possibilities of conducting computer evaluations. We hope that we will be able to ensure the implementation of the entrance tests in 2022, and in the future - to achieve other ambitious goals for conducting online tests, - noted Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet.

The support of UNICEF, UNESCO, Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to UNESCO, the Government of Switzerland, the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project, and the NGO “Portal u bezperervne navchannya “Sukhari” made it possible to develop a platform for conducting educational assessments in a short time.

In addition, the Ministry expresses its gratitude to the representatives of the Microsoft company for the licenses that were transferred free of charge to the temporary examination centers. Updating the software will enable the correct operation of the platform for participants and employees of institutions. We would also like to thank our colleagues from the State Scientific Institution “Institute of Educational Analytics” who assisted with the deployment of licenses.
