Goethe -Institut in Ukraine
Goethe-Institut e. V. is a cultural institution of the Federal Republic of Germany, which operates all over the world. It promotes knowledge of German language abroad and supports international cultural cooperation.Goethe-Institut spreads detailed knowledge about Germany, informing on cultural, social and political life in this country. As part of the popularization of the German language in Ukraine it offers seminars and various services for Ukrainian teachers of the German language.

Cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
In 2013, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Goethe-Institut in Ukraine signed Memorandum of Cooperation to support the German language in Ukraine. Among others the parties agreed the following cooperation goals:
- support for the reform of the Ukrainian educational system in the field of teaching foreign languages;
- підтримка якості викладання німецької мови в українських навчальних закладах support for teaching German language in Ukrainian educational institutions;
- participation in improvement of the system of postgraduate pedagogical education of teachers of German language.

2017/2018 are the years of Ukrainian-German languages in Ukraine
These years of Ukrainian-German languages in Ukraine (2017/2018) are presented by more intensive cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as well as other educational institutions. Also new partnerships are starting.
According to the “Take the next step” slogan of the years of Ukrainian-German languages (2017/2018) some new projects are being started. Among other those projects are aimed to support the education "New Ukrainian School" reform.

Piloting new standards for elementary schools in the "New Ukrainian School" reform
Goethe-Institut in cooperation with the Hueber Publishing Center and the Center for Foreign Languages – TSP - supports the "New Ukrainian School" reform program of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. The aim of the project is to provide teachers with didactic-methodical training as well as provide special guideline materials for schools that should take part in piloting new standards for elementary schools and offer German as the first foreign language.

German Children's Digital University:
