Sharov O. I. was born in 1968 in the city of Kyiv.
1991 - graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev (with a specialization in «mathematics»);
1995 - passed Ph.D.(Physics and Mathematics) defense with a specialization in «Mathematical and computer and systems software».
Work experience and occupational titles:
Worked as a teaching assistant of Department of innovation management and enterprising, the Vice dean of the Faculty of Economics of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a research assistant, an engineer, a programmer engineer; a junior researcher and a researcher in the VM Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of NAS of Ukraine;
2002 – hold a title of a docent;
1998-2015 - the Head of the University Department, Vice-rector for Research and Methodological Work, the first Vice-rector of the « Kyiv KROK University of Economics and Law » higher education institution;
Since August 2015 - Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
November 2015 – the Director of the Department of Higher Education;
February 2018 - the Director General of the Directorate of higher education and adult education;
2001 – the Winner of the Prize of the President of Ukraine for young scientists;
1992-1994 - the Chairman of the Board of Students and PhD students of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;
2002-2017 – a member of the Council of the Ukrainian Association for the Development of Business and Development Studies;
2009-2010 and since 2017 - a member of the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts.
Married and has a daughter and a son.
