Erasmus+
Ukraine is a partner country of the EU-funded Erasmus+ Programme supporting projects, partnerships, events and mobility in the fields of education, professional development, youth policy and sports.
It is based on the partnership between organisations from the EU Member States and other countries in the world.
It contributes to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.

The Programme fields have different opportunities open to Рartner Сountries.
Ukrainian higher education institutions and other organisations can participate in the following areas of the international dimension of the Erasmus+ Programme:
- international academic mobility of university staff and students (projects of international credit mobility) on the basis of inter-institutional agreements (ех-Erasmus);
- youth mobility projects for informal and non-formal education to develop lifelong learning competencies;
- realisation of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Programs and receiving individual Master Degree scholarships (ex-Erasmus Mundus);
- virtual exchanges and training for education and youth (from 2021);
- capacity building in the field of higher education - reforming higher education (ex-Tempus);
- capacity building for youth;
- capacity building for VET (from 2021);
- capacity building for sport (from 2021);
- strategic partnerships;
- knowledge alliances;
- Jean Monnet Action for the European Studies.
Ukrainian organisations may be partners in all of the above fields, whereas in Jean Monnet activities and higher education, youth and sport capacity building, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees both as applicants-coordinators and partners.
Annually, from October to February/March/April/October Erasmus+ calls for proposals are held.

The National Erasmus+ office (former Tempus) was founded in Ukraine to increase the awareness, visibility, relevance, effectiveness and impact of the international dimension of the EU-funded Erasmus+ Program and the higher education sector.
The National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine is a partner of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and jointly carries out the following activities:
- Information and promotional activities
- Assistance to potential applicants and project beneficiaries
- Selection, monitoring and dissemination of information on Erasmus+ projects and ex-Tempus IV program.
- Support of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform.
