Wynnyckyj Mychailo

From 2014 to 2020, he served as an advisor to three Ministers of Education and Science of Ukraine, responsible for overseeing the implementation of the EU-recognized Doctor of Philosophy degree (replacing the Soviet Candidate of Sciences degree) in Ukraine. He participated in various working groups for drafting laws and improving bylaws related to academic mobility, recognition of foreign diplomas in Ukraine, and enhancing student self-governance.
From 2019 to 2022, he headed the Secretariat of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
In 2002, he obtained his Master's and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
For over 20 years, he has been teaching at the Department of Sociology at the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" and also at the Mohyla School of Business and Lviv Business School (Ukrainian Catholic University).
A public figure, educator, author of intellectual essays, and a long-time consultant on management and organizational development.
As of May 19, 2023, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (Decree No. 438-r of May 19, 2023).
