Shumik Iryna

Director General of the Directorate of Vocational Education

Shumik I.V. was born on June 15, 1982 in the township of Kirova (now – Obukhivka) Dnipropetrovsk region.

1998 - graduated from the secondary general education school # 142 in the city of Dnipropetrovsk;

2003 - graduated from the State Institute of Economics and Finance, a degree in Financial economics;

2008 - graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Public Administration of Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine a degree in Master of Sciences in Government Management.

Work experience and occupational titles:

2003-2006 - the Center of social services for families, children and youth in Dnipropetrovsk. Job position - the Head of the Committee for Family and Youth Affairs for Amur-Nyzhnodniprovsk district council in the city of Dnipropetrovsk;

2008-2013 - Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Public Administration of Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine. Job position - The Chief Specialist of the Department of Coordination, Marketing and Monitoring of Scientific Research then the Head of the Planning and Financial Sector;

2013 – the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration. Job position - the Deputy Head of Department of science, higher and vocational education then the Head of Department of science, higher education and certification expertise;

2014 - got a science degree of Ph.D. in state administration;

2016-2017 – became the certificated coach after the «Academy of Good Governance» training courses at the European Academy Berlin;

2003 - the Recipient of Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the contribution of youth to the development of the state;

1998-2002 - the Head of Student Research Society, the Head of Committee for Matters Concerning Young Persons of Dnipropetrovsk State Institute of Economics and Finance;

2001-2002 - a member of Dnipropetrovsk Youth Council;

2012 - a member of Dnipropetrovsk regional youth administration;

2010-2012 - an expert of the «Institute of Public Expertise» civil group.
