Kurbatov Denys

Born on March 29, 1984, in Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad Region, Ukraine.

From September 1990 to July 2001, he studied in Sumy Secondary School No. 9, received secondary education.

From September 2001 to July 2006, he studied at Sumy State University, obtaining higher education, specialty "Electronic Devices"

From September 2006 to October 2009, he pursued his doctoral studies at Sumy State University, specializing in "Solid-State Physics." In October 2010, he defended his dissertation and received a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics.

From October 2002 to August 2008, he worked as the head of the radio-controlled sports club at the Sumy Regional Center for Extracurricular Education of Talented Youth.

From January 2011, he worked as the Deputy Head of the Research Department at Sumy State University. In September 2011, he was appointed as the Head of the Research Department at Sumy State University, where he worked until his appointment to the position of Deputy Minister.

He is a laureate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine scholarship for young scientists.

A Master of Sport of Ukraine (Radio-Controlled Sports).

Married, has a daughter and a son.

On April 18, 2023, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Order No. 315-r dated April 18, 2023).
