The World Bank has redistributed funds for the preservation of social benefits

The World Bank has approved amendments to the project "Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results" being executed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Another component was added to the project structure: "Support for academic scholarships provided by the Ministry of Education and Science and social scholarships provided by the Ministry of Social Policy for students of higher education institutions."

"After the redistribution is completed, $100 million will be sent to the general fund of the state budget. Therefore, it is planned to keep the financing of social benefits with these funds under martial law, "said Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet.

Recall that the EU Council will redistribute funds to support education and science in Ukraine.
