Serhiy Shkarlet told about the beginning of the second week of educational process after the forced vacation

Today, the 22nd March 2022, Minister of Education and Science, Serhiy Shkarlet told about the beginning of the second week of educational process after the forced vacation, which were announced because of the cruel break-in of russian federation into the territory of Ukraine.

"Let me recall that in 11 regions of Ukraine all the institutions of general secondary education have organized the distance learning educational process. According to current data of the educational departments of the regional military administrations more than 10 thousand institutions of general secondary education are working remotely. At more than 500 institutions of general secondary education the vacations continue, and in more than 2400 schools where the secure situation is remaining tense, educational process is suspended", - stated Serhiy Shkarlet.

As of the 21st of March 2022 three million of pupils proceeded to studying.

The Minister recalled that by agreement of one of the parents, children who were temporarily internally moved have opportunity to join to the educational process in school by the temporary place of residence.

Today the number of temporarily internally moved pupils who joined the schooling from another regions reaches the number of almost 44 thousand.

The regional leader who has joined temporarily internally moved pupils to the educational process is Lviv region. For the moment the number of such pupils almost reached 11 thousand.

Reminding, the Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet told that during the brutal and wide-ranging war in Ukraine more than 500 educational institutions were destroyed or damaged.
