Brief description of the program

This is a regional project for the Eastern Partnership countries to raise awareness of the basic principles of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education, as well as to promote the practical implementation of the Education Charter for democratic citizenship and human rights education at the domestic level. The program facilitates the exchange of experience between partner countries, including formal and informal education in the Eastern Partnership countries

Program goal: support for the integration and further development of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education in national educational systems (including school curricula) in the Eastern Partnership countries.

Program duration : 36 months  (January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2017)

Countries : Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine

Budget: 800, 000 euros
